Applying for a Course

Kirklees College now has an application deadline of Friday 21st May 2010 for all full-time courses except the following which have earlier deadlines.

PLEASE NOTE - when you apply for a course a place is not automatically guaranteed.

January Start 2010 Application Form

If you are currently at school:

• Download a full-time course application form or ask your Personal Adviser or Year Head for a copy
• Fill it in and give it to your Personal Adviser or Year Head
• The staff will complete their section and send it to us
• When we receive your application form, you will be sent an acknowledgment postcard (usually within a 10 working days)
• Applications are processed from January onwards
• A letter inviting you to an interview will be sent to you once your application has been processed.

If you are not at school:

• Download a full-time course application form or contact the College Admissions Office (01484 437033) or the Information Bureau (01484 437070) to obtain a copy
• Fill it in and return it to the College Admissions Office (the address is on the form)
• When we receive your application form, you will be sent an acknowledgment postcard
• A letter inviting you to an interview will be sent to you once your application has been processed.

For all part-time courses, except Apprenticeships, Teacher Training and Childcare, completing an application form is not necessary.

To apply for the City & Guilds 7303 Certificate (threshold licence to teach PTLLS) , download the Part-time City & Guilds 7303 Certificate application form or contact the Information Bureau (01484 437070) to obtain a copy.

To apply for the Childcare course, download the Part-time Childcare application form or contact the Information Bureau (01484 437070) to obtain a copy.
