Adult Education Centre Courses

Kirklees College Huddersfield Centre co-ordinates the delivery of over 500 adult education courses at 31 centres throughout the Huddersfield District. This vast range of courses includes everything from vocational courses (Accountancy to women into technology) to recreational courses (Aromatherapy to yoga). The choice is quite simply enormous.

These are shown in detail in the Adult Education Course Programme which is delivered to homes in the HD postal areas and is available from main centres, libraries and many public buildings. Kirklees College Huddersfield Centre also provide community outreach services which provide training and education for adult learners from all ethnic backgrounds, particularly those of Asian or Afro-Carribbean origin. Most of our courses take place in 'community' venues so as to be easily accessible to adult students. Much of our provision is built around school times so parents can drop off children at school and be back in time to pick them up again.
