Access to Higher Education
The Access to Higher Education course is designed specifically to prepare and qualify mature students for university. We therefore expect that students wishing to join us will not necessarily possess any formal qualifications. In this regard we provide an educational environment that is both supportive and sensitive to the needs and aspirations of the adult learner.
Our programme is organised into subject area pathways that lead to degrees in Nursing and Midwifery; Social Work; Social Sciences; Humanities; Law; and Criminology.
Our Access to HE course is very well known to universities throughout the north of England and we enjoy excellent relationships with local universities in Manchester, Leeds, Bradford and particularly Huddersfield.
Limited childcare is available for all daytime courses and personal and academic support is available.
