Neighbourhood Learning Programmes
Neighbourhood Learning at Kirklees College Huddersfield Centre is a scheme to encourage adults to learn skills and gain knowledge in local community centres. Its aim is to bring learners and tutors together in friendly community settings to provide enjoyable and informal courses to give people the skills they need to succeed in the 21st century. We organise and run courses in all areas of South Kirklees.
It is a joint effort by the major organisations in adult and community education in Kirklees, and seeks to involve as many individuals, informal groups, community organisations and education providers as possible.
