Courses for Under 16's


Saturday Club
We offer a range of short vocational programmes to pupils in Year 10 and 11 run Saturday mornings starting October and January. You can choose two options from the following subjects:
Bricklaying - New!
Catering
Joinery
Living On-line
Mechanical Engineering & Fabrication
Motor Vehicle
Plumbing
If you are interested in doing these courses you can apply direct (Call 01484 437073) or via your school. There is a charge although some schools subsidise the fee and others pay the full amount. For more information take a look at the Saturday Club Leaflet.
School Links
Some school pupils come to the College for ½ a day per week in years 10 and 11 to take work-related courses that lead to a qualification.
If you are interested in doing one of these you will need to talk to your teachers when selecting your options at the end of year 9.

If your school agrees that you can come on one of these courses you will be asked to complete an application form. This will be sent to the College along with a school reference. Shortly afterwards you will be invited for an induction and informal interview.
