* Tuition fees include the cost of examinations and registration (first sitting only).
** Tuition fees for English Language courses include the cost of the student’s first examination and registration.

General English Language Courses
English Language courses can be started throughout the academic year to suit your needs and level of English. All students are tested on arrival to determine the level of study needed. The College also offers pre-sessional and summer programmes as well as tailored packages for groups. For cost details for these programmes please contact the International Office for further information.
Payment of Course Fees
There are three alternative payment methods:
- Full payment before the beginning of your course entitles you to a 250 discount. This discount applies to students on full-time courses beginning in September only.
- 50% deposit before arrival followed by one interest free payment on the 1st of January of the academic year of study.
- 30% deposit before arrival followed by three interest free payments on the 1st of October, November and December of the academic year of study.
Special arrangements are made for students arriving after September.
Other Expenses
Other expenses that you must take into account when applying to study at the College include the cost of accommodation*, local travel costs, food (if not included in your accommodation), books, stationery, clothing, socialising and other miscellaneous expenses. Please refer to our “Welcome to Huddersfield” Guide, which provides you with all the information needed.
* Please note that Kirklees College can help you arrange accommodation whilst you are studying in Huddersfield.
